This project involved managing recurring ocean freight shipments of bulk consumer goods intended for wholesale redistribution. The focus was on stabilizing container availability, aligning sailing schedules with inventory cycles, and reducing port-side congestion during peak import periods.
The client was scaling imports rapidly and required a more disciplined container planning approach. Freight Cargo Global coordinated sailing selections, confirmed cut-off dates in advance, and aligned documentation flows with shipment schedules to avoid rollovers and missed departures.
Port servicing and inland coordination were integrated into the planning phase to ensure containers exited the port promptly upon release. This reduced storage exposure and supported consistent stock replenishment for downstream distribution.
